NATIVE. EXPLICIT. PREDICTABLE.

Xenon

A native compiled language with C-level control and modern C-family semantics.
Explicit, predictable, and built on LLVM.

01 Native AOT
02 Explicit memory model
03 First-class C interoperability
04 No garbage collector

First program

Hello, World

A small native program with an explicit entry point.

namespace Example;

extern int puts(readonly byte* text);

int Main()
{
    puts("Hello, World!");
    return 0;
}

Design principles

Why Xenon

01

Predictable by default

Fixed-size primitive types, explicit lossy conversions, real bool, and explicit pointer semantics. int is always 32-bit, long is always 64-bit, and integer zero is never a null pointer.

02

Low-level without the historical baggage

Pointers, explicit memory access, native layout, and C ABI - without carrying forward every historical quirk of C.

03

Modern type system

Struct-oriented OOP, inheritance, interfaces, properties, indexers, and readonly semantics for expressive native code.
